For anyone who lives in SOCAL:
I drove to the east valley animal shelter in Los Angeles today to meet Gunner, who is being put down in a few days. I, unfortunately, do not have the luxury to take him, but I am REALLY hoping there is someone who can.
He is 2 years old and a Lab/German shepherd mix.
If you cant make the drive all the way to LA, but are interested, the dog can be delivered to you, free of charge, and for a small adoption fee of $40, he will come fixed, with shots, and microchipped. He will also come with a leash, food, food dishes, shampoo, and toys.
Problems:
1- He was abused by his previous owner, so he's very shy at first, but warms up quickly. Within 10 minutes, he was sleeping in my lap.
2- They previous owner says he has aggression problems with other dogs, but I think thats bullshit, since he didnt bark at any of the other dogs when he was taken out of the kennel.
3- He has not been house broken, but that is something that I think can be easily trained.
Here are some of his pics:

If you or anyone you know would be interested in Gunner- PLEASE CALL AND ACT FAST! You can call Bobbi @ 310-567-1992 or me (Stacy) @ 760-703-2662.
He's sooooooo sweet, and its way too soon for him to die.
Thanks for taking the time to read this.
