A quick article was written up and documented for the site a few weeks ago, here is a link: http://clearcorners.com/services/0002/
It basically shows some of the different bulbs out there and how they stack up in terms of performance. For those curious, the lamps used were Cibie 200mm, the ones that all of our S13 customers rave about. Real nice light distribution with sharp, smooth cutoff (as long as you use quality bulbs).
On the third page, you'll see a couple images of what you can expect should you ever go with a rebased H4 HID retrofit kit. The bottom of the barrel junk thats being slanged allover ebay and other forums, ahem.
There's other info online as well, listed here: http://clearcorners.com/services/
One thats pretty interesting is the difference between OEM and Aftermarket, it makes good reading for those curious as to how companies cut down costs.
We'll post more articles as they come.

ps: I leave you guys with a few images of our most recent development. If you wonder why we've been quiet, its because we were working on a new taillamp for the G35 Coupe (shown below). As well as a new S13 coupe taillamp, and some other stuff that I wont get into until its complete. Peace!

Great write-up on the comparison between the g00d and the b4d! I learned alot just from the pics, not to mention the many valid points you made.
Mike, as far as redoing the harness for the lights(this is something that I'm clueless about) do you know of any write-ups about what is involved? I've browsed your site several times before and I haven't seen anything. I'm also dying to know what you've got in-store for the coupes!

Psssssssssssssst.... anyone here interested in upgraded S15 headlamps?
hmmmmmmmmm........???
I know there are BILLIONS of broke 240's running around with unpainted S13 Silvia front-ends, and most of the S13 Silvia headlamps have the wrong beam pattern. But what about the more baller individuals, rocking super clean S15 Silvia front-ends? Admit it, those with S15 front-ends are the richest 240SX owners in the world. You guys have the headlamps that are so fucking sexy, and everyone wants to be you.
Dont get too cocky just yet. Admit the truth you fucker - you cheap'ed out and bought the halogen ones, didnt you? No one buys the OEM HID-spec lamps, they're too expensive and take too long to get. I know I know.. "If I drift into something, I dont want to replace expensive HID ones" .. okay okay, we understand. (You're still cheap though, because you ended up buying an HID kit.. right?)
FUCK. I cant believe you purchased a 150, 200, 300 dollar H1 rebased HID kit.. jeez.. you should've learned your lesson by now. No worries, that modification is reversible - thank goodness! You can put that shit in your garage and use it as a 12,000k disco light.
While the factory S15 HID-spec lamps would be choice, more skilled individuals may opt to get crazy and do some wild OEM HID projector retrofit. Good choice! This will give you LHD optics and excellent light output....................... as long as you do a good job with your conversion. If you dont, you'll quickly turn your lamps into shit.
But anyway, I digress. What about the majority of folks who just want halogen-spec S15 headlamps with LHD lighting pattern? Hmmmmmmmmmmmmm..............? Anyone here interested in such a beast?

Okay.. I cant hide the excitement. I like you guys too much not to show this shit. Its not avail yet, but they will be... eventually.
LHD converted
White LED parking lamps
Dual Amber LED signal lamps
HIR high output high-beams
+50 high-output low-beams
Overall, a pretty damn decent street-car setup. Not too extreme, but nice. One trick option will be the color-matched bezel, which will still retain the "Silvia" side-logo. Baller stuff, for the kind of people who wear silk underwear.
Peaceout...................... bitches. Remember, sometimes ya gotta race.
