EDIT:
Turns out its not the fuel gauge...Basically the thing just keeps going up like its eternally full. I read something about the fuel pump floater screwing up. Exactly how does it screw up?

im sure i'm wrong, but couldnt you just grab the fuel guage from the old cluster and swap it to the newer one?

Anybody else had this issue? Ive read that this is a common issue but dont remember reading enough people having this shiet happen. Never happen to any S14 ive touched.

The float on my S13 has always been a little touchy. Right after I installed my Walbro it never read above 3/4 on the gauge... then one day I played around with it a bit, and it started working pefectly. Lately it's been doing it again, but always reads accurately below 3/4. I just live with it. :-/

Well I pulled the pump, and I forgot that the car got a GTR pump from a R32. Turns out the whole pump assembly and sender was swapped over. Anybody on the forum running GTR pumps? GTR pumps dont seem to have a floater like on the S-chassis. I think the sending unit is this white hollow tube. Trying to see now if I just need to swap that out or the whole pump assembly.
