Hey, if someone can, I need you to measure how high the platform is on your shifter for the 240sx. I have to order that plate from the dealership, and I can't take it back once I order it. What I'm thinking is the platform (round thingy where shifter fits in) should be shorter on a 240 tranny to allow the stick end to engage.

my buddy at my dealer has the frontier w/ka24e also he's going to swap in the 240 short shifter in there. Forgot what company he was going to use but he said it bolts right up same trannies.

Yeah, but the frontier has the DE, and it's also newer. My D21 doesn't accept the 240 shifter. The engagement stem is about an inch to short to fit.
yours has the de? my buddy has the e.
i always thought you had the ka24e also.

No, your buddy's Frontier should have the DE. Mine has the SOHC. The 240 shifter DSC sent me doesn't fit though. I have to get a top plate for a 240 tranny for the shifter to fit.
