well, first off, are you positive that you're using the appropriate size of wrench? those are metric nuts. not being an ass, here, either.
if that isn't working, try a pair of vise grips on what's left of the nut.
if that doesn't work, you could try using a dremel to cut it into pieces...or use the dremel to flatten out the surfaces again and use a proper size of wrench.
is it cross-threaded? if so, you will need to fix those threads before putting a new nut on there. and also, just replace ALL the nuts while you're at the hardware store...ACE/True Value is best.

Yes, I used a 14MM Metric.
What the heck are VISE GRIPS?<img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/confused.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt='???'>

they look sorta like pliers, but have a locking spring in them to allow far greater pressure on whatever you're trying to squeeze. you couldn't squeeze that hard by hand. they rule. get a set (i need a set now that my roomie moved out).

you might also try the craftsman bolt-out damaged bolt nut/bolt remover: <a href="http://www.sears.com/sr/product/summary/

Try this before you do anything...Just re-tighten the other two nuts back on the studs. This will relieve some of the pressure put on the last nut. Then try removing the one that's giving you hell. If this doesn't do the trick, then get that tool from sears, it works magic. Yeah, I said magic...write it down damn it.

Or just use a nut breaker(I think thats te technical term) its a little tool you slide over the nut then you get a wrench and tighted up a bolt on this tool and tightens a sharp metal piece into the nut until it splits. Sorry im not very technical but ill find a pic!

Channel Lock might work too, it has a long handle so you get some good leverage. Actually a Robo Grip might be even better. But the above methods should work too. There's some anti-sieze stuff you can get at Kragen (local auto parts store) and that should help

damn I could've used that when I was removing the heat shield on my s13, I just ended up using an air cutter on all the rusted bolts since a torque driver wouldn't even remove them
