I have never heard it, but everyone says its loud, especially on N/As, but most say it gets a little quieter on a Turbo.

My friend has an apexi dual n1 on his 96 stock 240sx and it sounds good. It's not the loud in your face. It's more of a deeper sound than those high pitched civic mufflers (weed wacker hitting a coffee can) It also has that nice echoe noise to it a little, where you can tell its a full catback and not just a muffler. It doesn't make noise that much at idle, only when you punch it can you get the loud performance noise that most people want. The silencers can also dampin the noise by a lot too if you put those in. He had them in a for a while but took them out becuase he wanted it to be heard and known he was coming down the road. Other than that you got yourself a good system. Problem with me is I can't decide between that or the all mighty Nur Spec R system.

i have it, it is definately loud, however it does not sound like a tin can, nor a bumble bee, nor anything else associated with stupid kids in shit mobiles...

it sounds excellent, but yes it is loud to be sure... and the dual will pop...

Go to the main zilvia.net site and click on Technical and then look for a Apexi Exhaust link. In there you will find some audio clips of the exhaust your looking for.

my neighbor has it paired to a Injen CAI and together those two are loud as hell. I have it on my SR and it is 90 times quieter. side by side when we both have the cars on you can't even hear my car running and at full throttle it is fvcking re-dick-ulous

i've got the duals (catback) on my s14 paired w/injen CAI and IMHO it's not *that* loud. in fact, i can drive by cops whenever and be quiet as i want to be, i live in San Diego and they've never given me any problems at all. I agree w/DriftAwaySilvia, it's only loud (screaming?) when i punch it, but you can barely hear it below 3k rpm, well let me rephrase that, you can hear it as a nice low growl, but it's not something that is annoying like a lot of other cars out there. also i have never gotten any backfire (though i was aware of this problem when i bought the system), i suppose i just got lucky in that department . anyway, i'm sure you will enjoy this as it makes a huge difference on the highway, for me at least.
