LS1 FC RX-7 Street/Show Car. Real Attention Getter!
This is a 1989 Mazda RX-7 that formerly had a turbo rotary engine, but now has one of the cleanest LS1 swaps around. We did the swap here at our shop SDP in Santa Clara using the Hinson SuperCars swap kit and took the car to the JDM Theory J's Gathering on January 28th and won Best Mazda. The engine is stock and all smog equipment is in place and the car has a full grey interior.

Good luck with the sale Luke.

Luke and SDP build quality cars, and provide quality service to their customers. I'd let Luke build me an LS1 powered iron lung if I was on my death bed.

This car is not just for looks. It is also setup to perform.

After we took first place at jdm theory car show we headed to altamont for Drift battle round 1. We setup the car at the track, and ended up taking 5th place out of 62 cars.

Not bad for its first time out.

Here is some action shots.

wow!! I just recently cam into the opportunity to buy a pretty much pristine FC, but, strangely enough the motor is seized up...they guy is selling for 500.00 the only problem is it is a convertible, the window on the top leaks a little, and there is a dent in the hood, a small one...i dont know if i should take it??...what yall think...its also steel blue with grey interior...was thinkin ls1 or sr20...tryin to do this cheap as possible...

bump for a ballin ass car

I would try to stay away from a convert. They are alot heavier, and have weak diff, and axles.

I would suggest you get a turbo car because they have a stronger diff, axles, brakes, etc.

so stay away even tho, i can get the car for 500 bucks...i havent really looked at 7's but i thought they were more like 1500 for a non running 7 normally...also, if i don't use this for me, i was thinking maybe making some money off it, like parting it out. what do you think bout that?
sorry for sorta jacking ur thread but u seem to be the one to ask with that awesome 7!

PM Luke if you have any more questions about your RX-7. He's trying to sell a car here, let's let him do that.

Thanks.
