For those who have gone to an aftermarket or racing clutch. Please share your experience. I am in the market for a new clutch for my IT car. I don't know whether I need a full blown puck type racing clutch or an improved stcok type.
Due to the limited modifications allowed in IT, the car does not make more than 200 hp. Any thoughts?

i got the Spec Stage 2 clutch from Enjuku. i don't remember how much power it can hold, but it's way more than i'll ever have, so it should be sufficient for your use as well. i got it for like $270, and considering the stock clutch is $150, i think it was a pretty good deal. engagement is immediate, but the pedal is by no means excessively stiff, in fact, it's only slightly stiffer than stock.
PS: i know you'll have to get the fly resurfaced when you do this, so while it's out, you should have it shaved down like i did. <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':D'>
