It looks janky. I wouldn't go for it. You get what you paid for.

Seems like a Greddy knock off to me.

Why waste the money on the fake product?

Now you see why he called it "FREDDY".

Fake GREDDY =

Still a sand casted piece of junk with flaws/slag/pits/etc...

This is not new either, this is just polished... If your stupid enough to buy this for the look of having a flashy I/M as opposed to buying the regular for $80-$100 less than go for it.

I'd probably try one if i could get one for like $40 max, but not pay that much extra for a polished unit

My friend has had one for the past few years, and has had no problems.

Yeah but ask him if he'd pay an extra $80 to have a polished one that was just as functional.

I never said the "FREDDY's" were new, but I haven't seen these polished ones yet...

I originally wanted to do the ITB's from the gtir but i don't have the time or skill to do that, I can't see spending the money for a real greddy one when there is not much power to be gained. From what i've read about the older un polished ones, the ports just needed to be smoothed out, and some fittings replaced, but they weren't bad... I was just wondering if these polished ones had smoother ports since they seem to have had more attention before they were sold.

I wasn't buying one right now, I have more important things to buy like gt30R or 2871R before I get this. I was just wondering if this was the same freddy thats been around, just polished...

I am all for doing things right the first time, but that doesn't mean you have to buy name brand parts to do things the right way. Thats just the most expensive way... Turbo's and Other moving integral parts on the other hand, I would definitely stick with a trusted name that stands behind the product with a good warranty.

If you don't have tons of money, save money where you can and use it for the more important parts of the build. Or maybe thats just me...

Just save for like another 2 weeks and get a quality one, I wouldn't trust ebay.
