heres a bit of a conversation I had with a good friend's brother. I was talking about cars with her earlier and showed her some pics of a Skyline R34 GTR...and her brother wanted to see. Then we had this interesting conversation.

him: A souped up civic would rock that car though
me: ROFL
me: in someones wildest dreams maybe
me: the civic would shit itself as soon as it saw the skyline
him: yeah right let me put in a super charger and some nos
me: lol
me: please tell me you're joking
him: no way
me: these skylines can get up to 700-900 horses on the stock engine
me: and its AWD so it will rip the civic a new one right out of the hole
him: my friend has a civic that is running 1100 horse right now
me : and what engine does he have?
him: it has a spoon engine
me: is that with NOS?
him: I dont know if that is with nos
me: just a giant turbo right?
him: and everything in it is custom
him: yeah
me : then its no longer a civic if its all custom
him : yeah true its basically the body of a civic thats it

Then he started to agree that if someone even put half as much work into a Skyline it would make that Civic its bit(h...

Gotta love Fast and the Furious for that. No way you could even have 1100 hp out of a Civic custom or not without NOS.

An all motor civic can beat a stock skyline, but get an ECU on that and the skyline will go nuts.

But with enough money any car can beat another, but for the most part you can't call it by its original name

There are ALOT of steet civics and tegs that are in the sub-11's. i know a few people that have sub-11's civics and tegs. of course they can beat a stock skyline r34 gtr, but no way they could beat a modified one.

1100 hp in a civic

That's just a waste of money, with the money he must have spent he could have ended up with something much better. Probably a very nice 240SX or a BMW M5.

Well a JDW civic type R would be faster than a R34 non turbo sedan, stock for stock.

Barely.

that kid must be a true moron how can his friend have a 1100 hp civic??? unless he is like a semi racer entering into competitions. That's just crazy 1100 civic. I am sick of guys thinking that they know about cars just cause they saw the fast and the furious and their "friend" drives a modded out civic (which usually is intake, cheap ass muffler, and altezza's) anyways yea any car can be fast even a geo metro if you swap the engine/customize it.

Civic with 1100hp? whatever it is, it's still a civic, what's the point for straight line drag race? BORING!!! talk about handling and cornering in the mountains, hahhaha, easily figured~!
if you like drag race, yah, NASCAAR is for you~
GT and WRC are for me.

Last time I checked nascar did oval tracks, and the occasional figure 8, but not straight line....

The only 1100 HP 4 cylinder car is an Integra with a drag racing V8 motor cut in half. Modified heavily of course. I agree, Honda aint much over there in Japan, but then again, we're not over there
