View Full Version : More SR Vacuum Hose Questions! :)

Hey all,
Can you tell me where the vacuum hose that is coming out of the pipe that goes between the MAF and the turbo inlet is coming from/going to?

You can see it in the picture below:

Also, SRSWAP.COM says that you can block off the hose going to the canister "if" you aren't going to use it.  Is there any benefit to using it?  Will my idle be rough if I DON'T use it?

don't know about the vaccumm line but if you plug up the carbon canister lines it will not affect your idle...

i have that plugged and my idle is solid.

I just stuck a screw in mine w/ no probs. &nbsp;In other words it goes nowhere on my engine just pluged up <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'>

That hose is going to the TURBO ACTUATOR

ummm. &nbsp;no. &nbsp;that's not a pressurized side of the intake. &nbsp;that's after that MAFS, BEFORE the turbo. &nbsp;the hose that connects to the actuator connects to a pressurized intake pipe to tell the wastegate when to open.
