If your oil pump failed, that means that many, many other things could be wrong. How do you know the oil pump is bad anyways?

You could have spun bearings, or even the pistons could be seized in the block.

because right not the engine is taken apart. also when I tried to cranked the engine over the oil pump was not sending any oil. (look at the thread the pix are old) and my mechanic has looked at it and told me whats wrong (Smoothlinez/RHD)

nothing else is wrong with it, I wouldnt try and sell some one else a fucked up engine and no tell them what wrong with it.

if you would call and find out more about my situation you would find out there is more to the story then I have put down (IE me getting deployed to Irag and wanting to finish this car befor I leave in june)

So before you go pop'in off at the mouth not knowing the whole story, maybe you should do a little investigating and not run your mouth like you know some shit!

if i may ask what did you do to bend the valves. and what were you looking to get for the motor

well everything started when the oil pump went out, which caused the timing chain retensioner to fail and release the timing chain, which smashed the plastic timing chain guide, which made the timing fuck up. and some were in there the valve got bent. you can tell the valves are bent, cause tewo of the rocker arms are higher than the others.

as for as a price, theres more shit on that engine than I can remember so deff more than $1,000

tell you the truth Im just tierd of SR's and want an RB now

Haha. First off, I do know some shit. Second, maybe if you had put up all the info the first go around, nobody would be able to make false assumptions based on the little info you did put. :fawkd:

Also, so your asking 1000+ for an SR Longblock, with maybe $300 in aftermarket, that needs a new oil pump, valves, and who knows what else?

Look at the other threads selling SR's, you can get a running one for that, or a motor like yours for $500.

Good luck with the sale. :keke:

Oh so because your on Zilvia and have a few post and maybe have had a few SR20's you know some shit:loco: I dnt think so, but I do think you just run your mouth and say random shit when you want to. If the people want to know more about the sale, then they call the number at the bottom of the thread.
I have had to well known shops in CALIFORNIA look over the engine and tell me the problems= (oil pump from performance Nissan $160/ two valves $20)

as far as the price and why I'm selling it, I have already said why Me have REAL responsibilities like going to Irag. Not sitting infront of my "E-machine" at my moms house in my underwear talking shit to some one I know noting about, on a subject I know nothing about:fawk2: .

As far as the $300 in after market parts, you must have soooooommmmmmmmeeeeee hook-up cause as far as I know:

ARP head studs,Nismo FPR,Nismo Therm,Greddy head gasket, Nissan FULL engine Gasket, new Valves, new Springs, new nissan water pump, new nissan altinator, and timing chain kit= a shit load more than $300

Heres a thought keep your weak ass opinions over there in Georgia

Bent valves = scarred pistons

Yep. What do you think HIT the valves idiot!?

And also, failed oil pump and you aren't recommending changing the bearings? LoL..

Obviously you know nothing, since you had shops look at your motor instead of taking an hour or two to tear it down yourself.

Your motor is not as described in this thread, I can bet on it. End of story.

And you are asking WAY too much. I wasn't even being rude in the first post I made. I was simply asking a question.

Real responsibilities? Anybody can sign up for the damn military. You havn't done shit yet, so I give you no praise. Go there and come back, and you just might earn yourself some respect. Doubtful though.
