I bought a S14 SR. I know it a zenki sr, I have a WC ECU and the front of the engine is not ribbed.

The MAF connector on the harness does not match up with the connector on the MAF. The MAF is a 69F00 which should be a zenki MAF according to 240sxmotoring (http://www.240sxmotoring.com/partnumbers.html)

I know the plug I'm using is the MAF plug. But it wont go in. And also on the MAF connector, its a 4 pin but only 3 of the pins are in it (thats normal) and they are in B C and D. On the harness connector the wires would go to A B and C.

Wire colors on the harness connector are white, black, black/white. Help me out!!!!

Its a 95 240 if anyone needed to know.

Also the connection on the MAF uses a snap type plug while the harness connector is a normal type plug.

I looked in the SR FAQ and found this
"the zenki s14 sr20's have the older style maf plug with the metal clip, and some very few later model zenki s14 sr20's thru the s15's have the newer snap plug for the maf."

So where do I get the older style metal clip plug?
My harness must be the late model zenki sr20 but the MAF is a old style.

do you have pics of the maf you need? I have an extra s14 zenki maf I could sell you but I'm not sure which one you need b/c I wasn't aware that there were different ones.

Can you take a pic of yours? Is your MAF a sr MAF though? Whats the part number?

I dont have a pic of the one I need unfortunately.

I would be then I would have to buy a SAFC and I dont really want to have to mess with that right. I just want to get it started and running good then I can move on to stuff like that if I decide to.

Ok I looked up a little on Wiring Specialties and found this.

The 2 different MAF plugs are:
Early model zenki: Rectangular plug
Late model zenki: Oval plug

My plug on the harness is oval while the plug on the MAF is rectangular. DrtyRat is your MAF rectangular or oval?

Ok I took some pics of my plug and my MAF.

This is the plug, notice the oval, round edges and the size and shape of the center orange piece.

This is the MAF (Duh), notice the rectangular, sharper edges.

Here you can compare them. Clearly you can see it cant fit. The orange piece cant fit into the MAF and the edges hit it.

Here you can see the wiring. Plug has wires in from left to right C-black/white B-black A-white. And the MAF only has pins for D C and B.

Someone help. I would rather have the right MAF rather than having to find a right fitting plug and rewire it. Plug I dont know what order the wires go in on the MAF I have sinse they dont line up.

get a new plug from the dealership? or cut the plug off, solder on stak-on connectors and plug it in. its not rocket science

S14 Zenki plug is also the same as the S13 SR "Rectangle" plugs.
Hope that helps.

Hope that helps.

Are you 100% sure on this? I know you cannot run a S13 SR MAF on a S14 SR so I am not sure how this would make sense.

I have a spare S13 SR square Plug pigtail if you need it.
The WC ECU is supposed to be the Zenki -
or the NA #80F00 is the Kouki.
Let me know if you need the pigtail.
