I've got the aluminum 300zx calipers, rotors etc. Do I need to buy the front hose kit from PDM, or can the adaptors be found from Aeroquip, Russell etc ?? I've already got a Goodridge S/S 240sx hose kit, so I don't wanna spend the bucks on PDM's. Any help is appreciated!

there is no simple way to convert from banjo fittings to straight fittings. only thing i can think of is that you could cut the banjo fittings off and rebuild the lines with the proper straight fittings.

read this web page about building brake lines:

well one thing that always confused me is that i never saw any diff in the s13 hoses and the pdm ones. my rims wouldn't clear teh calipers until i went 5 lug so i kept the hoses on the stock calipers and they fit the same.

now i am going off of memory and never put the lines side by side to see if they were the same length, but im sure the fittings were the same? correct me if im wrong which i probably am

the OEM 240 brakes use banjo fittings, and the Z brakes use straight fittings. you can use the banjo fitting in the Z brakes, but it's not the best. i don't think you can use the straight fittings on the stock brakes, though. c'mon Mr. Mechanic...you should know this

oh, by the way, i'm almost 100% sure the clunk is from my inner tie rod ends.

I havent been able to piece together any fittings to go from the 300zx caliper to 240sx hose, so i bit the bullet and bought Heavy Throttle's front hoses. Anyone wanna buy some 240sx front Goodridge S/S hoses? Thanks for the info!
