im trying to install my newly acquired Greddy Intercooler setup. the core dimensions are 34" longx11"tallx3"wide. i was trying to slide it up into my bumper and there is not enough room due to part of the bumper being in the way. i was curious as to what the best way is to cut this section out or bend it out of the way. this Greddy kit is used and supposed to be a direct setup for an s14. i have a 95' 240sx. here are some pics with the little lip that is in the way highlighted.

choppity chop! These Greddy kits arent drop in, you have to modify your usdm bumper support. Either do this, hack the entire center section off, or be jdm tyte and find a jap bumper support...

you have to remove your bumper cover, and the actuall steel bumper. mark the area that needs to be cut and go to town with a sawsall or something similar. i just cut out the middle section completely on mine. you will also have to trim your bumper cover unless you have a body kit on the car already. hope this helps.

If you cut, box the cut space on the bumper support in for structural support.. Or just leave it removed... I threw mine out entirely
