The more important question is how does it sound?  It looks almost stock aside from the dtm tip.

that doesn't look too bad.  Pretty nice actually...reminds me of a bmw exhaust;  what muffler is that?

I took the resonator out, and put on a flex-pipe, and replaced the stock mufflet with a X3 Racing muffler DTM style. It sounds very nice.. and pretty loud at 3K up rpm.. only thing is after about 5.5k and 6k rpm it makes a clicking sound... kinda like it's explodiding.. almost like a backfire.. but i dont think it is a backfire because the car is still moving and powerful even with that sound... maybe it's the vibration in the flex-pipe that's causing dat...

my muffler also makes that exploding sound you'r talking about. &nbsp;It happens when I shift from 1st to 2nd gear at aroung 5-6K rpm. &nbsp;It's probably just the muffler. I have a &nbsp;magnaflow.

what that baffaling sound is at high rpms is the actual firing of the engine....b/c the rez is out and it's a striaight pipe back, theres no place for noise reduction....don't be scared of that sound....if u really want to fix it u can go to a bigger pipe 2.5" or 3"....my supra did the same thing, the pros told me the same thing i just typed

not my style personally. &nbsp;They call those mufflers DTM style because the original ones were made for German cars. &nbsp;I've never seen one that looked right on a japanese car. I'm a real purist when it comes to these things. &nbsp;I don't even like that muffler on most German cars, but to me it only looks right on either a Vdub or BMW. your car your taste though.

im not a big fan of Euro style on a Japanese car. &nbsp;no offense though. &nbsp;i feel the same way as fifthgeneric on this one. &nbsp;he right, i dont think they even look good on most bimmers...maybe only the e36. &nbsp;but it doesnt matter what we think as long as you like it right?
