Just wondering if anybody out there has a 1/4 mile time for their 240SX w/ only an intake, cat-back exhaust, n header or similar set up. I just want to get an idea of how much of an improvement this would be over a stock set up. Also if you do have a 1/4 mile time, can u list the parts that u actually have. I know I asked this is some other topic, it's just easier for ppl to c it as it's own topic. Thanks.

personally, I think it totally depends on circumstance, and driver......I took my car to the drags a couple of weekends ago...and I totally pissed myself off...but hey, it's still good experience, next season...I'll know what the heck I'm doing.
anyways, it was hotter then h***, my filter was all plugged up, stock rims, 195 aquatreads(I live in the NW), and my best time was 15.95....I believe people can get 15.90 stock! LOL anyways....I replaced my filter the other day...and whoa.....I guarantee you my car runs faster....time to borrow someone's gtech! I really wanna show people low 15's...
although, for those of you interested in drags...here's an interesting thought.....speed really doesn't mean much, except which bracket you race in. Consistency is KING. I beat a civicSI that dialed in at 14.90....and he wasn't even close to me when I finished, in fact, when I looked up into the mirror after shifting to 3rd...he was losing ground. He probably bogged his launch.
I finally lost to a maxima....there were also hyaundai's doing pretty good....only because they were consistant. That's the beauty of bracket racing <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'>
Honestly, I wanna just forget about drags, and use my car for what it was intended for...corners! Solo here I come...next year <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'>
