Power Meter ?Speed Sensor Wire?

OK ... before someone say "Search"... there is nothing.. in fact, what I found was someone else looking for the same info about 3-4 months ago.

Just got a nice new toy for the S14... Blitz URAS SBC-iD and Power Meter.
easy to wire up and basically staight forward on working and functions... only issue is the "Speed Sensor Wire". I know you can run this off the Speed sensor on the tranny but the Power Meter also reeads other funtions off the ECU so I feel its best to use the wires under the dash and not the wires under the chassis (same with other guy)... also because later when the SR drops in I dont feel like resetting the wiring.

SO... the FSM reads that there are 2 wires off the Cluster #25 and #26, but the wire diagram shows a #18 as well. Volt readings show = #s off all 3.

What wire is absolute correct??
What wire did you guys use?

hmmmmmmmmm...if i can remember correctly...its the one with the yellow/green wire. the #26 rings a bell...should be that wire. sorry im at the office and cant check my car right now.

VSS is yellow/green on S13 and S14, found leading from the cluster to the ECU.

Awsome... Yellow/ Green is #18.
#25 is Red
#26 is Red/Yellow

Just went for a ride to set the Speed Calibration... there is enough functions to easily distract you long enough to kill yourself... be warned hehehhe. Very fun little addition. I am suprised by the #s though... 177HP on a KA w/ NGK wires, Bosch Platnum 4s, AEM short ram, and Kak Exhaust?!?! and dont tell me its the oil...lol.

Hope I'm not thread jacking but I've got one of these and need to hook it up to a s14 sr zenki...anyone w/info on this? BTW I got this b/c my HUD works when it wants to and I'm tired of guessing on my actual speed.

just hook it up to the speed sensor wiring. route the wire to the tranny harness and wire in. done.

Nope, the signal at the VSS hasn't been converted to an analog signal yet, it does so after the cluster. Catch it inside, at the cluster or ECU. Again, yellow/green wire, just like I said above that apparently no one bothered to read. All S13/S14s use the same color wire.

The VSS sends a pulse, and the frequency of the pulse increases with speed.
