i cant exactly tell which plug you are asking about in the first pic cuz it looks like and a/c line. but the only plug that goes into the p/s lines is the p/s pressure switch sensor. this sensor allows the ecu to make the idle higher whenever you use the p/s. without this, the engine will die out when load is placed onto the motor (parallel parking). there is also a pressure sensor for the a/c that does the same thing...hope this helps

Not exactly. The P/S pressure switch only idles up the engine at full lock, when there's an increased load. 99% of cars I swap/rewire I throw the plug away because you're almost never at full lock, and if you are it's rarely idling so it serves very little purpose. As for as the fuel lines, the one further back towards the firewall, on top, is the supply.

I was hoping the original poster could search and find the power steering switch information.

As for the fuel line, if there is any doubt, follow the line from the fuel tank. The supply line goes from the fuel pump. The return line goes straight to the tank.

Look here for pix of the two lines in the fuel pump assembly: http://www.zilvia.net/f/showthread.php?t=69242

my fault...whenever i use the scanner at work, when I look at the live datastream, the p/s switch turns on whenever I turn the wheel just a little bit. but I can see your point as to how it will only idle up when at full lock...+1 to you!
