I can't decide which clutch to get for my S14 SR swap. I plan on attending about 12 auto-x events this year and hope to make it out to at least 2 drift events. The car will be mostly bolt ons, so I won't be making tons of power. But I can't decide if I should go with the Street Puck since it's within my torque range, or if I should go with a more aggressive clutch since the car will be at some track events. My biggest concern is would the max street be overkill for what I need my clutch to do?

hell no, the RPS MAX will be perfect. I have one on my KA with IHE and it is absolutly perfect on the track. It's a little stiff for the street but you get used to it, like all things. I wouldn't want anything softer for track events!

IMO MAX would be overkill. I ran street on my KA with just bolt ons and it was just fine. Unless you're aiming for high power and torque, I doubt you'll need the max. But do get the 6 puck.

the car is NOT my daily driver, so it won't be seeing that much street use. Mostly just weekends and once during the week. Just thought I'd throw that out there.

what are the advantages/disadvantages to a 6 puck? How does it work differently than a disc?

Better grab and less glazing over of the material.

I had the rps max with the organic disk on my ka..IHE ecu cams bla bla ... i beat the livin shit out of that thin for the better part oh two years in the canyons especially sand cayon...never slip... i loved it way more than the EXEDY stage 2 i have for my new SR... its always good too have a lil more than too be unsure what a lesser clutch can handle??

max series is the way to go, totally stock motor like mine, it is a bit overkill but the pedal feel is great, its hard to drive normal soft clutches after awhile becasue the max series gives u a totally diffrent experience. i daily drive it and use it at events.. its pretty much all around amazing
