Hi, first of all, I'd like to apologize for making another harness thread, I know there's quite a few threads about relocating harnesses already, but I have a slightly different question. I relocated my harness a couple of months ago, thinking everything would be fine from then, but last week my car started having weird electrical problems again, and I found out that my harness was still rubbing where it goes to the engine bay. I was wondering if anyone else had this problem, and how you fixed it.
Thanks ahead for any help or tips, I really appreciate it.

Adjust your caster (more) or wrap the part of the harness in some thin aluminum and zip tie it on there, if you use aluminum just make sure its nice and smooth where it will contact the tire

This doesn't answer you particular question, but here are pics on an S14 for other members who want to see what is needed

Remove the dash. Unplug the engine room harness from the steering column area. Route the SMJ through the engine bay and back over the strut tower instead of inside the fender.

You're right, that didn't answer shit, especially since the OP stated he already relocated the harness.

Pull your fender off and use a ziptie to pull it back at that spot. Plus fix your caster and take off the monster truck tires.

Tell a mod to remove the post then? Responses like that tend to make me question the time it takes to make a helpful post for someone that may accidentally stumble across this thread when looking for an s14 relocation thread instead. It's not like I posted a picture of how to intall HID's ya know...at least it's a similar topic
We all know the search function sometimes generates odd hits, so the better chance for info to be shared the better...

Thanks a lot for the help everyone, looks like I'll have to fix it and make a cover for it.
