This is a car that doesn't need anything. There are no little wiring tasks to take car of, no mismatched body panels, nothing. It has never been abused, never seen over 9psi, never been tastelessly modified. It is just one of the cleanest most responsibly maintained and driven Silvias you will find. What's even better is that this is a California car which I had transported to New York just recently.
If you're looking for a Silvia exactly as you were able to buy it in Japan, this is your car. This is not a 400hp drift machine or a shaky, bolt-on street rod. It is a reliable, exquisitely clean and very tight daily driver. There are no silly mods, no problems and it has seen no abuse. If high output is your goal, this car will make an excellent foundation.
The car is a 1992 Coupe with a Silvia Front End. It has NO HICAS, a working HUD display with central tachometer.
Less than 100 Miles ago had a new SR20DET long block installed to remedy declining compression in my original block. At that time I had a FULL Nissan gasket kit installed, which includes all turbo seals, intake gasket manifold, rear main seal, exhaust gasket. The long block came from Heavy Throttle, who has an impeccable reputation (http://srownersclub.com/index.asp) and the gasket kit direct from Nissan. It is running perfectly.
150 miles ago I put on a brand new Nismo S-Tune suspension. The S-Tune is a matched shock/spring pair designed by Nismo. As Nissan says, "S-tune components are engineered for the enthusiast that drives on the street, which accounts for over 80% of all sport compact owners." https://www.rhdjapan.com/home/produc...roduct_id=1478
200 miles ago I put on 4 new Falken Ziex tires on the car and they come with the optional replacement warentee (they'll come pick you up on the side of the road and replace the tire for free).
When the car was originally swapped it was done right, with a full compliment of parts to insure a long-living and free-breathing SR20DET. Such as an Apex'i dual N1 exhaust (its a full 3" from the turbo back)(http://mauromotorsports.com/apn1duexs132.html), a Spec Stage II clutch (http://www.optionimports.com/sn332-972.html) a large very well made XS Power radiator which compares favorably to Greddy, a Walbro 255lpg Fuel pump (http://www.srownersclub.com/Merchant...y_Code=Walbro), and a blitz turbo timer and boost gauge.
Some extras are included such as a brand new factory molded carpet (not installed), two black 15" Enkei meshes, a good radio and all my receipts.
If you're looking for a tight, clean, grown-man Silvia there is no way you'll be disappointed.
I'm not going to start by asking way more than the car is worth only to be low balled. Lets make this easy. I looked at all the ads on this website before posting and I know its worth $7250 so thats what I'd like to get.
I'll trade for a 02-05 Civic Si (hatchback).
Please email if you have any questions.
The car is presently garaged in Bedford, NY, 10506. I'm willing to ship if you pre-pay with paypal or a cashiers check.
