VLSD going bad?

how do i know if my VLSD is going bad?


i was trying to do figure eights a couple weeks ago and it wouldnt break traction like it used to.

more updates. tried doing donuts. only one wheel spinning.

"the ones that do. if you have any question, jack the rear up, release ebrake, with engine off, try to rotate one one wheel by hand, if the other side spins the opposite way its open diff, same way its VLSD."

tried this .... only the wheel i was spinning by hand was spinning. [ the other wheel didnt move at all]

VLSD = Done.

if the other one didnt spin at all then most likely the car was in nutral thus spinning the driveshaft, the put the car in nutrel while both tires are off the ground, the opposite tire should spin the same direction but with a bit of resistance
