Ticking

Yesterday, it rained real bad, and roads were flooded.  THis morning when I took my s14 for a drive, I heard a ticking sound from the driver side wheels.  Im not sure weather its the front or rear wheels.  I'm almost 100% sure its not from the engine bay, because it doesnt tick when i press on the gas.  It only ticks when the car is actually moving and the wheels are turning.  Kinda sounds like when we all used to ride bikes when we was little and put a baseball card on the wheels to make that cool ticking sound.  Well, it sounds like that a little except at a slower pace.

Dose the sound increase with speed? If so you may have some thing stuck to or in one of your tires. Sounds like a nail or some thing.
