how did u get the pilot converter out of the crankshaft so that you could install the pilot bushing. i read some where that there is a tool to do so but they said it didnt work...so how did u go about doing it.......does anyone know how much a pilot bushing will cost.......if these are stupid questions sre stupid please forgive my ignorance as i have never dealt with tranny's before....but there's a first time for everything <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/tounge.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':p'>

what i used is the most simplest tool, now granted this was on my b14 sentra but the same thought and process is involved.
i used the nissan heavy thick than a mofo silicone grease packed it into the hole then i found a socket that fit inside the hole perfectly put an extension on it to close it up and created a suction or vacuum forgot what it does but the bitch just ploped right out easiest thing.

Well pulling out the pilot can be done with a puller that you should be able to rent at your local auto zone. As far as the rest of the install goes the search function is working and several of us have done this conversion. If you look in the faq section I did a write up on the parts needed to make the install go quickly i.e. everything you need . check it out and congrats on switching over you will love your car afterwards
