I went to go mount some tires today and the last two beads ripped.

They wont seat on the wheel now.

Silicone maybe?

You need to get a better tire guy.

He shouldn't have ripped the beads in the first place.

For a pair of $50 tires? It's your life I guess, but I'd hate to hear someone else died because you tried to silicone a tire that's worth a dinner at Arby's.

Well the tire guy was me. haha

They wouldnt be for everyday driving, just for the gymkhana event.

The other six tires went on fine, but the last two were on different wheels.

I work at a tire place and no those are not fixable. Technically you could put some bead sealer (tire places will have this) on there and it may work for a time, but as far as the long run, its a lost cause. Are you sure the rims you're trying to mount them on aren't reverse mount wheels? And how do you know they leak? Did you get them on and then take them off?

They aren't reverse mount. And they did go on, and they leak through the beads.

if it doesn't seal up with a little bead sealer, then those tires are toast.
