180sx factory option Power meter, anyone have one?

hey I was looking through the 180sx option catalog, and there was a strange thing I saw, I dont have hte picture to post, but anyone who has the chuki 180sx option catalog it was called a "power meter".
fits in the din slot under the radio, and seems to display engine vitals and hp among other things. does anyone have one of these or knows how the work or how to wire them up?

aha, it looks like all they did was buy it from apexi and slap their name on it.


That my friend is the Apex-i Multi Checker, it was designed for all Nissans back then, and good luck finding it new, ive seen one, and that was over a year ago, and it sold for like 400 dollars because they are so damn rare...:-(

i hope to stumble upon one some day, ahahah

How does it measure hp and whatever else it is measuring?

probably got a g force sensor, and calculates it through acceleration vs. vehicle weight. do you have to enter which nissan you drive? Its a rough estimate of hp at best.

it calculates from speed vs time and some other shit
you input your weight and other factors and it measures it, really accurate actually.
it, my gtech pro, were spot on
