it's not a Louvre (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Louvre), and it's not a louver (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Louver), it's a duct.

but yeah if you just drew that shape on your hood and cut it on 3 sides and pushed it down that would be basically the same

or you could make one out of cf sheet as somone said
