First remove your intake filter housing. If you follow where the curved plastic tubing goes underneath the car and directly in front of the left wheel, you will find the resonator box. It is a black rectangular box held on by 3 or 4 bolts. Removing it should allow a more direct flow of air into the intake, based on the fact that the resonator box is actually sealed with the exception of a couple small holes in the bottom. After removing mine, the car did seem to breathe better and it sounds pretty cool, although you will have to monitor your air filter more frequently for dirt and debris.

I got a K&N stock replacement filter, that helps with the resinator removal, and it still looks stock.
