Which turbo do you guys think would be stronger for the ka24de...the Turbonetics t3/t4 or the Garrett t3/t4? Is there any advantage of going with one over the other, or is it all pretty much the same with these two?
Thanks for the info. in advance.

I honestly don't know much about Turbonetics. I do know that Garrett set the bench mark for the industry standard, and they continue to do so. La Mans race cars use their turbos as do most factory equipped turbo vehicles, so you really can't go wrong with Garrett...same one I'm going to get:

I'm trying to decide...at first it was the Garrett, but then I realized the FMAX turbo kit came with the Turbonetics. It made me wonder what the differences were between the two. I'm not planning on doing the kit, but I'm in the process of researching the big mod (a.k.a focus = nothing else matters damn it). Any other opinions and or facts will be appreciated.

Well you have to remember that in some way, shape or form FMAX has worked out a deal with Turbonetics to get them reduced prices for their kits, this may be a deal that they were not able to get with Garrett. Ideally I would like to get an HKS turbo, those things are BUILT...such excellent pieces of equipment they are (and oh soo expensive). They also mention that they base their turbos off of Garrett components...
Does anyone else care to comment on this though?

turbonetics is a generic brand for hks or garrett
but they are still high quality turbos which alot of ppl rely on.
