im building a practice drift car out of a AE86 hmm... here is my problem... i read up somewhere that some guy made custom coilovers for his 86 and i wanna do the same.. i need something cheap but gets the job done... i dont care if it rides rough..... * can you help me build some custom coil overs.... just point me in the right direction* thanks if you reply!!!

I know that Alex of Battleversion had a prototype coilover for his recently purchased S13. I think he also made/has a cheap coilover for AE86's also (since that is what he's known for). I suggest checking out his site and seeing if what he offers might be a better deal than to make your own. Check it out...

just throw some ground controls over those monroe shocks, remove the rear spring, and you're good to go.
i had an ae86 for a while until i met with a guardrail, and you don't really need anything but good brakes and a good clutch, and bad rear tires to drift.
