Where does the gearbox vent go?

1-1 EGR. Most people remove it.
1-2 Air/oil separator. Keep it for now. When you go with a top mount turbo you can figure out what to do with it.

2 - looks like one of the harnesses behind the battery area. I can't tell what it is just from looking at it.

3 - 1 heater core to block
3 - 2 head to heater core
3 - 3 brake booster. the hose that got clipped off went to the RHD booster. take the US hose and plug it into that port.

4 - vent hose. point it up anywhere convenient so dirt doesn't fall in.

5 - looks like the bracket that sits on the strut tower for the igniter chip. I'm not quite sure what the other 2 solenoids are because people don't use them. One of them is the boost solenoid.

6 - fuel return, fuel inlet from fuel filter. Match these with your car and don't mix them up.

FPR vacuum is the small hose, BOV/CBV vacuum is the big hose, EVAP canister vacuum is the bottom one. plug it if you don't have evap canister.

If you want to save yourself a lot of trouble, do the following:

1) follow the coolant return line from the turbo to the back of the motor. Weld the water inlet on the block shut. Get an S14 SR water outlet and reroute the coolant return line to the water outlet.

2) Slice off the two heater core fittings and weld on 5/8" fittings. Then get flexible 5/8" heater hoses and connect them to your heater core.

You will thank me later. Post up if you have specific questions.

Thanks.. Why do i want to block the water outlet? Never had any problems with the ca18, i belive its on the same place..

Also, this is a EuroDM 200sx, with a CA18det ;)

1: waste of time. good in the long run if you're going to change out to braided lines and not use that water line. But i'm sure he's going to keep the turbo setup how it is.

2: what for? i've done plenty of swaps and never needed to do this. 5/8 hosing fits, it's just a very tight fit.

n2r, you can get rid of it and plug up the hard line going to the turbo elbow. But you mention you have a CA18, meaning your car is japanese rhd? you can leave that there.

pic 2, looks like a plug to one of the lower harness.
pic 4, the tranny vent hose, you mount that to one of the tranny bolt; when you mount the tranny to the engine.

Everything you have there should plug up into your car. coolant lines, brake booster line, emission stuff, fuel lines. with the CA18, you can see where all the stuff went.

The only thing you'll have tourble with is the wiring. search on the ca18 swaps people have done and compair the wiring to sr20. I believe it's just a repin job on the power plugs that goes to the Intake area.

edit: here ya go:

Everybody has their own way of doing it. 2 minutes with a welder can save some hassle once the motor is installed.

Stretching 5/8" ID hoses to a 3/4" OD fitting may cause the hose to rupture over time if you're using cheap hoses.

I love cheap hose though :naughty:

then you're better off folloing http://www.srswap.com/faq/index.asp
the wiring, you're on your own research.

I would weld up the lines myself too. Most just dont have access to a arc welder, or willing to go through the hassle of redoing that. I've never had problems or heard of any problems with that rear coolant line. But it's much better to have a s14 water neck with the line, just easier access with braided lines.

Lines might rupture if you're in a climate with crazy change of tempature. :)
