View Full Version : 180sx kouki taillights socket

ive been searching to find my exact answers to my questions but i cant find them so i decided to post another thread about this subject.

i have kouki taillights for 180sx. and it didnt come with the sockets so i was wonderin if someone knows have a substitution for the sockets that used for them? anyone know?

Cut the stock ones and splice them in.

stock ones dont fit. the bulbs r too big, and the bulb sockets dont latch/hook in place. 180sx koukit tail lights use 7440 bulbs so they need 7440 sockets/bulb holders or similar. when u find some, pm me with the info, i need them too. right now i just wired them up directly to the bulbs and duct tap them in place....yes i know its ghetto, but it works.

Cut off JDM plugs. Solder in USDM plugs. Done.

yes im talking about the sockets right there.....soldering is not that hard connecting that wires back and forth....i can do them but im looking for any type of light bulb sockets that fits through the holes. if i cant find one i might have do something else to make it work...lol thanks for the info
