actually if you piece it together its a bit cheaper if not about the same as a sr swap. It would make some good power and it would have lots of torque.

I recommend going to ka-t.org and reading up there. As for it costing so much maybe cuz you will have everything needed for a direct bolt-on and you will have all the management to have a safe ka-t.

Check it, price an SR and all the upgrades making it comparable to those in those kits, including the cost of the engine.
... how much different is it now?

If you know how to shop and match parts, either solution can be had for less than you have named, I will offer up that much.

do not buy a turbo kit....waste of money for bad fitment and cemented turbos

piece together your own kit....there are people over at ka-t.org making 250 rwhp for 1000 in mods

ka-t kit you buying brand new plus it includes fmic with piping. sr, your buying a used turbo engine, no fmic, rusted manifold. makes sense?

if you have low miles on your ka... dont be dumb, boost it. :)

yes it is a stupid question.

KA does not come turbo from factory so theres a lot of shit you have to do when going turbo in order to make it last longer than 3 days.
SR swaps are just like.. plug and play for the most part.

i have a feeling this is gonna turn into a SR vs KA thread.

I suggest you go over to ka-t.org and read up. You can also search here about turboing your ka, but being lazy to read? What about when you have to pull your motor to take the oil pan off to put the return line, are you gonna be lazy then?

i feel your question has been answered.

Just go to KA-T.org

Cheap kit:
SSAC bottom mount, SR DP, SR T25 or T28, SR 370cc injectors, AFC, SR SMIC...

Dude, you simply can't argue with the fact that if you have $2000 you can either get a sr and it will end up costing a bit more in the end and you'll have about 200hp or if you have $2000 to throw at a KA you'll make like 250 or if you're lucky 300hp if you get good deals on a pieced together kit.
I am going with a low hp setup on my KA. I want about 200-220whp and so far I spent about $1300 but that's because I got ripped off on a few parts on ebay. My setup will be:

Bottom mount t25 setup
FMIC
SAFC II
Walbro pump
sr injectors
stock MAF
taurus e-fan
etc.

If I had like $1500-$2000 to spend I would guarantee that I would have close to 300hp.

And then people are like oh but you'll blow your ka, who cares. Now you can find them for almost free. I got mine for free from a shop down in Philly that does sr swaps. It was a 98 KA with 100k miles. All I had to do was come pick it up. So when mine blows, that's going in.

We're not here to spoonfeed you your life.
Your question has been answered, the onus falls purely upon you to get out there and find what you're in need of.
People have even told you WHERE to go, the fact remains that they are just not willing to go there for you and do all the work you should be doing when it is you're money that is in question here. I am almost wanting to question your intelligence, but I will refrain for time being.

Besides, your lack of punctuation and sentence structure makes your posts hard to read, I am killing this dead now.
