its called a pintle cap, it helps to atomize the fuel as it sprays.

i THINK you can get replacement ones from Deatschwerks or however u spell it

The pintle cap plays no role in atomization whatsoever. It just protects the nozzle and holds on the lower o-ring.

We do have them though... yyou can call us at 405-415-6862 to order.
