What can cause a battery to drain over night? And no i didn't leave the dome light on! I drove the car about 50 miles and killed the battery. The previous owner told me the car has a new alternator and battery. I kind of believe him, they are a lot shinnier then the rest of the engine. is there any one plug or ground I should check? btw the previous owner installed a ground interupt kill switch thing. Basically it was one of those emergency shut off witches for race cars that he ran from the negative battery terminal to the glove box where the switch was and then back out to were the negative battery cable was supposed to go. I removed that and it still drains. I disconnected the radio and it still drains. any other ideas?

Oh this is a bone stock KA in a 92 240sx.

The previous owner probably had that switch on there because the battery drains. It makes for an easy way of disconnecting the battery.

Check your inner fender harness for stripped wires also.
