Well i have a Kouki 180sx Bumper with turn signal lights and i was wondering if there is a fmic kit that fits without having to remove the turn signal lights? Also if anybody has some pics of the kouki bumper with fmic and turn signal please post them also thank you.

Kouki 180sx bumpers have excellent clearance stock for FMIC, my friend put one on his car and it cleared his HKS intercooler and piping with no mods. He has full turn signals and fogs as well.

although mine is a fiberglass copy of the bumper, mine fit with ease. all i had to do is shave down mabe 1/4" for the i/c piping on the left side. but i don't run turn signals

People its a Kouki bumper not type X, Type X was a trim package. The bumper came on all 96.5 and up 180sx's
Like I said my friend has a HKS FMIC on his car with the the Kouki bumper( its not a type X) and he did not have to do any mods.
The Kouki bumper was designed to clear FMIC intercooler setups. It does not go as far back as the Chuki or Zenki bumpers do.
The other thing is its dependant on how you mounted the intercooler and if your letting it lean out far or the piping is pushing it out. Though if your setup is done right you should not have to trim.

i don't see why people get so butt hurt when people call it the type x bumper and yes i know it is a kouki bumper and that is why i put that on the thread but come on for everyone to get po'd when people call it the type x i think that is just the dumb. Maybe it's easier for them to remember it that way instead of getting confused with the s14 kouki front end and at least we know what their talking about when they say the type x front bumper instead of us asking "are u talking about the s14 or 180sx kouki front?" Either way i think it just easier calling it the type x front but for people wouldn't be butt hurt about is the reason why i titled the thread "Kouki 180sx front bumper"

Also thanks for the help drift freaq i'll be getting a fmic kit soon and at least now i know i dont have to get rid of my turn signal lights

So, you should be able to go to Burger King and order a Big Mac? They are both burgers, they should be able to figure it out right?

People get annoyed when you call it a Type X bumper because IT'S NOT JUST A TYPE X BUMPER!!!!!! Type X was a trim package, not a special bumper. It was, however, a bumper that was on all kouki 180sx's. Some people get more annoyed than others, but yea, just because you want to call something by the wrong name, doesn't mean people should accommodate you.
