i just bought a 93 240sx hatchback super hicas, the whole car is in almost perfect condition except the clutch, it doesnt grip when i honk on it in low gears, and i can feel it slip in the top end of the higher gears. can i adjust the clutch cause its a hydraulic and i hear you can do that, or do i just have to replace it, and if so, what the approx. cost of doing so(in canadian dollars if possible).
Thanks for any info given i love the car, good buy.

Just buy a new clutch. There isn't much you can do about a slipping clutch short of replacing it.

Yes you can do it yourself. I did and it was just me and a friend, but... IT was a Bitch. saved 250 dollars but took several days to complete just cause the transmission is so tightly fitted. If you're dad is a mechanic then it will most defintely not be a problem just make sure you have a alignment tool. If you have anymore q's just ask me

GREAT NEWS!
IM AN IDIOT!
hehe, i got my dad to finally get off his ass and take a look at my situation, he says the clutch is perfect and the problem is powerloss and what i thought was slipping in the top end is missing. So i take a look at the spark plugs and they are completely fucked, so i got some bosch platinums and noticed an immediate increase in power. Tommorow i will be putting in a bottle of fuel system treatment and buying a k&n factory replacement air filter(if i can find one).
ONE LAST QUESTION?
does the s13 have computer controlled timing or do i need to time it cause i think the timing is retarded.
