(S14) A shop that was doing some different work on my car told me that basically a bishing on my left rear suspension was loose. They called a nissan dealer but the guy was clueless. Now when I turn it to the right it sounds like its loose. I don't think I can feel it much, but it's loud and obnoxious and sounds like a nut and bolt is not holding two things tightly together and theyre vibrating and rattling (eh, best I can describe it for ya). And of course I'm afraid of the worst...
So should I call a nissan dealer and tell them this or will they be clueless, what should I tell them, what part am I looking for?
Thanks

you need to pull off your wheel and take a look at your rear suspension.
there are only a few bushings back there.
to borrow from splparts:

Or it could be the dampener boxes on the very front points of the rear subframe. They are little metal boxes held on by rubber and the rubber deteriorates and vibrate and makes it sound like something is loose. I took mine off since they are pointless. Check right infront of the front subframe bushings on the top.

Very possible... I know where your talking about, what are the dampener boxes intended for, a type of cushion? I haven't checked it out before, is that accessible with just a jack (or two) -- my place has no hydraulic or lift.
Thanks
