hey whats up guys, Ive been doing alot of searching/ talking to guys about the greddy intake manifold and im so torn between keeping the stock one or getting the greddy one. My set up is pretty simple but i dunno if the stock one will be ok or the greddy will be an over kill with my turbo. I saw that thread about cody ace's setup how he made 400whp with the same turbo I am running. but then again I talked to the guys at Enjuku racing (ray) and he said that with my setup i would be better off with the stock manifold. ahh i dunno what to do..I am going with a enthalpy tune ECU so i dont want to send it out just yet because if down the road I want the greddy then I am going to have to pay the 125 to have it reflashed. so guys please help me out and let me know what you guys think I should do??!?!?! thanks in advanced and heres a list of my setup....also do i even need to reflash the ECU with the greddy intake manifold???

Gt2871r .64
JWT C1 cams
JWT gears
Cometic headgasket
ARP headstuds
sard 850 injectors
blitz front mount
apexi intake
comp valve spring
crower retainers
megan manifold
full exhaust/dp
thats it for like motor wise..stock bottom end no porting or anything like that to the head either..i kno i prolly should have.

thanks guys, Evan

The reason they said its a better idea to keep the stock manifold is because the .64 is more of a tq'y turbo then the .86. If you wanted killer top end performance the .86 with the Greddy intake manifold would be the way to go. With your turbo, the area the Greddy manifold really shines is where your turbo cannot produce the go for the Greddy manifold to be worth it.

If you had the .86 it would scream like hell. With the .64 though the idea is to have the powerband lower. Your turbo wont match well with the manifold. Ofcourse it would work but not to the potential you would expect and the car might not be as fun to drive anymore(even with the extra power, which wouldnt be as much as you wanted!)

p.s. if you want more top end I'd get rid of that dang Megan. A full-race bottom mount would definitely give some more top end punch with less tq loss then the intake manifold would produce
