Maybe he forgot that he owned it... left it around for a few years and was surprised when he looked in his garage.

when I bought my low mileage 91 back on 2001 it had 19k on it. Yes 19k. It was hit and run totalled while parked in 2002 at 36k
That car on egay has been abused, look at the photos carefully.

Doesn't look particularly special. There was a '93 on ebay with 4k miles a year or two back...

I wish I could time travel.
I'd buy a brand new 240sx, romp the shit out of it for 5000 miles, and then put it into storage to sell it to some dumbass years later.

id rather have a driven car - cars that sit fall apart, rust and dont get taken care of at all, and everything rubbers prolly beat. not to menton that car looks like hunkapoop

I paid $3900 for my low mileage 19k 91 in 2001. That was actually below blue book for the time as well. When it got wrecked in 2002 I collected $3000 cash and the car with the parts on it back. I parted it and wound up walking away with $5500 cash total, more than I had in her.
My recent acquisitation is the cleanest chassis I have come across in years by far. It has 132k on it 92 SE Fastback(unfortunately yes it has a sunroof).

What matters more than mileage is how the car was treated/maintained IMHO...
There's a 90 hatch about 4 houses down from me that looks really clean... it's owned by a middle aged woman, only drives a couple times a week, and the car has been chilling in that driveway as long as my roommate has been living here... and that's 13 years.
I'm waiting for the FS sign. :)

:werd: 29k miles w/out doing an oil change < 200k miles w/oil changes every 3k :)
