I recently noticed Energy Suspension has a part number now listed for the S14 rear Aarm bushings, so I dug around and found ultrarev.com to have the best prices. Showed up today and it's not just the Aarm bushings but the full rear suspension, uprights, traction, toe, and camber arms also. For those who've already done the other bushings you'll need to know this since you'll end up with twelve extra bushings like I now have, but otherwise it's a full rear kit for anyone looking to upgrade for S14s (the S13 rear Aarm has narrower mounting arms so the S13s bushings don't work on S14s). $56 or so from ultrarev, everywhere else was quoting over $90, only drawback was I ordered black and got red. Oh well.

Too bad they don't sell it separately, I think most people will want just the A-arm and upright bushings, maybe the traction rod. Still cheaper than that Nismo bullshit at least.

just ordered a set, good looking out

The advantage there is if you have adjustable rear arms, one set will do two pair of uprights. That's how I did mine originally with S13 bushings and sold the extra set to a friend, but I couldn't do the Aarms with the shorter bushings. Now I've got enough for two more pair of uprights which I can easily press in and sell, kids on Ebay love shit that's already done for them.

This is not exactly new. I have had these bushings in the ES Master set for almost a year now.

The master sets don't do all the rear end pieces. Most, but not all.
Plus they come with a lot of useless pieces like OE swaybar bushings that few people will use when given the choice of upgrading the entire bar. Given the price difference and the typical upgrade of other parts the master set isn't always the best choice.

And also note that I said I "recently noticed" them. Nowhere in my post did I say they were a brand new never before seen item.

By A arm I'm assuming that you mean lower control arm. Is it Part# 7.3119G / 7.3119R ?

Hey, R240NA have you had a chance to install the bushings yet? I guess you already have most of them installed (since you said you have like 12 extra bushings)

Hows it feel vs the stock bushings? Is it noticably stiffer or different?
I need to get some bushings for my OEM rear sway bar that I just got for super cheap but Im wondering if maybe I should just get a set and replace everything.

Hard to really feel a difference in normal driving, I haven't tracked the car yet or done any hard driving but the thing to look at is the flex inherent in the OE bushing. From the factory the Aarm is allowed to pivot on the subframe, but it can also pull fore/aft due to the rubber being soft, changing the camber setting just a hair under load. With a urethane bushing you take away any chance of the bushing flexing at all. Same with the uprights, the amount of OE rubber allows for just enough 'give' to alter the geometry.

So whats the part number for this kit? and does it include lower control arm bushings?

7.3119 is the entire rear kit, with Aarms. They don't sell them separately.

I got this kit about a month ago and everything fit up just fine. One thing though, I had to use hose clamps on the center of the bushings while pushing them in because in the center of the bushings there is a little indent, for grease I assume, that actually weakens the bushings when pushing them in causing them to deform. The hose clamp makes the bushing impossible to deform and once it's a 1/4 way in remove the hose clamp and they are in. Patience is key with these suckers, some just don't like to be pressed in.

Can't talk about the ride b/c my S14 is still on jack stands for another few weeks but just by observing movement with hand pressure, these suckers are lot better than stock.

For the Aarms I push the sleeve in for rigidity and then cut them in half. Then you can slide each end into the arm without any effort. Whiteline bushings come split already so it doesn't hurt them to do that.

I just used a bench vise and pressed in the bushing first and then the metal sleeve. The front control arms come in 3 pieces but for some reason one side of the bushing keeps sliding loose. I didn't want to cut the rears and one side popping out.

R240NA - which method do you use to press the old ones out? I tried both the press and sawzall. I bought a 12 ton press from habor freight and it didn't seem to work too well. The sawzall method seemed the easiest but I had to be careful as to not cut it too deep.

Easiset method of removal I did was torch out the middle sleeve then hacksaw a notch in the outer sleeve then hammer out with a screw driver.

^ Bingo. Torch, sawzall, chisel.

Only time the press method really works good is when it's a Z32 upright, the steel outer sleeve doesn't seize into the aluminum. I press those out in a vice with a pair of sockets like it was cake.
