Ok, in a modified mag or superstreet back in like 2004 or 05 i think, they show NOB Tanguchi's 3 nissan 180sx/silvias, on his 180sx he had a one off tail light conversion, with the tail lights actually extruding from the cover, kinda like ferrari tails.. since its been awhile, i figured someone might have started making similiar ones or knock offs, anyone know where to find any of these?
ok heres the pic of the lights

Sound kind of like Jaquemond Auto's lights, but a pic would really help.

They're covers for the Kouki tails made by Vertex, but they're a part of the entire Vertex Ridge aero package, I'm not sure if you can buy them separately.

Actually, I think you might be able to buy them separately, because the Japanese website lists the price for each part of the kit individually.

yeah it says u cannot use just one single part because of the way the widebody kit was designed.......o well i like the kit, next ill have to decide on the motor..i was thinking blacktop s13 or rb26dett, s13 would be lighter and i could achieve the type of horse power i want out of it, around 400-450 but the rb could take alot more abuse on the stock internals it does have, but also it would change the weight/balance

The lights have nothing to do with the rest of the car, the translation is refering to the bumper(s),fender(s) as they are designed to correlate with one another.
the lamps are still oem or if they wanted to some aftermarket LED with covers they made. thats it

ah ok, thanks man
right now im about to go out on a oil rig, and i should be taking home about 3200 every check and its just me and my g/f so im looking forward to finally being able to build up my dream car, a 240sx fastback, but my favorite thing about the car is the rear tail lights, dunno why i guess to me the seem to mimick the exotic cars with the fold lights and the circle tails, at least the aftermarket and jdm ones. jurys still out on the motor though, most likely going with black top s13

That is pure marketing. People use parts of bodykits and mix and match kits all the time. Now being able to do that and have it look good is another story. LOL. Like S14DB said the overlays are available seperately and are designed to be used with the Kouki 180sx tails. Which cost $450 and up for the tails. I would say on your car focus on your suspension. Then do something in the engine department.
Also I seriously ask you, have you ever driven a 450hp 2800 pound car or have you just read about it? Reason being is unless you have had experience in that range its going to be handful to drive.
As far as RB vs SR goes, If you go with a stock 26 you would be in the 300-400 hp with a boost controller and a bone stock engine. Yes my friend put out 330whp on a stock 26 with a boost controller.
Though I should say the 26 is a very expensive install. You might want to consider a RB25 with some bolt ons to save yourself some money.
Anyways this is not a flame just some helpful notes to give you a better idea of what your up against with your dreams. Hope you have some cashed save.
Good luck.

i agree with CKAMC. thats Vertex's semi-wide body, the ridge kit. lights are still jdm kouki, just vinyl smoked i guess. It could have custom cover inserts as well but the lights def. have nothing to do with the kit.
