hi, I was running 7 before and g-dimension, a local shop took my in to perform some work. The owner mentioned the plugs are wrong so I just let him change it.

I just realize that they are range 8 (BKR8EIX) and I been reading that all I really need is range 7 as opposed to the stock range of 6.

I have the basic upgrades in turbo, both manifolds, light cams, fpr/fuel pump and spitfire's coilpacks (the installation recommended going one step colder from stock, which woudl be from 6 to 7)

What do you guys think? Should I go back down to 7? Or it doesn't matter? The car is scheduled to be tuned in the coming week and I really don't want it to be tuned "wrong" because of wrong heat range plugs.

IMO ONLY I would say stick with the 7,unless you will be runing xtreme boost and relativly high combustion chamber temps.

yea just stick with the 7's until you are running more boost, then think about upgrading to the range 8's
