I was wondering if anyone would be interested in a midwest meet? I was thinking omaha nebraska which is right on the board of nebraska and Iowa(I-29). I am sure it would be a decent drive for most but there is pretty kick ass circut track about 10mins south of omaha right off I-29.
The website for the track is www.midamericamotorplex.com. Its only been open for a year or less I think and is pretty nice.
To be honest I dont want to be the organizer of this event so if we get enough people interested could someone step up to the plate on this?
I am not sure on a date but I was think september would be nice but again that is something that can be decided later if this event takes place.
Omaha is pretty nice so we could all go out friday night and have good time then hit the track on a saturday.... or like go out on a saturday night and hit the track on sunday.
Im in Kansas City, Mo so if this goes down and someone needs directions from this area let me know.. or we could just drive together or something... same thing for Iowa since that is where im from...

Well hope you guys find this interesting.

Edit ::: Went to MAM site and they have days dedicated to sport compacts/imports.

shit dude sounds like quite the setup...i would definitely say yes but i live in lower michigan so that is quite a drive...if more people were going to get in on it and the date was right, i would be happy to go.

St. Louis sounds better to me than Omaha seeing as how I only live about 4 hrs from STL and 10 hrs from Omaha. But i'll try to make it anywhere 4-5 hrs away from Indianapolis.

Hey im up for pretty much anything in the midwest area. My goal was to start getting more meets together so if you want to get a something going in st louis that would be cool.
Anyone in that area want to take on the responsibilty of organizing the event?
If someone decides to take it on I would recommend contacting people that have organized previous events and get ideas/opinions/things to do and not to do.
Not to many people have jump on the idea of a midwest so gets some detail on the st louis situation, post it and see if more people become interested.

Well hope we get something going here.
