For all of those with popup sunroofs, do you have the sunshade that comes with it? I read about it in my manual and all I have is the glass sunroof. What is it made out of?
I was going to pick on up at a junkyard so I could keep my center console cool when I park outside at work. I was curious if anyone even it and if it works.

I have it.. Never use it b/c it's ugly, and cumbersome. The built in shade in the glass does good enough job for me.

I used it it the winter, though I doubt I will use it again. It's kind of noisy and a pain to install/remove quickly. If you get one, I wouldn'y pay much money for it as you may not like it. I'm thinking if I want to keep my car cool, it's much more effective to tint the rest of my windows and use sunshades on the windshield.
I actually bought one for my old s13. I liked it because it made it a little darker in the car and a little cooler. Its a carpeted peice of fiberboard IIRC.
You can sell them on Ebay for a decent ammount.

Personally I think they're best used as insulation during the winter months; it'll keep your car a lot warmer.
