about a year and a half ago i was in a 98 240 and i was going to rome to help some girl's move in to there new college,i was looking for the road that the college was on not really paying that much attention i looked up on a billboard and seen the road name and when i looked down there was a 1970 caddy right in front of me i was doing 65 there was nothing i could do but steer away from his door,i hit him right in the side.after sliding to a stop with the frontend of my car back to the windsheild and the right front tire under the passenger door i pulled myself out of the car and fell on the ground and my leg was bent in a L shape and it was still in the car, broke my wrist in two places my femur in two place's and busted my face up,had to have reconstructive sugery on my leg and could'nt walk for like 8 or 9 months i'm just now getting my leg back into shape.sorry for such a long post

I haven't been in any that were my fault, most of them I wasn't even in the car for, and the one that I was, I was at a stopsign. All of them total up to about $10K worth of damage though (none to the 240, unless you count the break-in).

Holy shit! Glad to hear you are alright, and finally walking. My worst accident is nothing in comparison, I hit a guy at like 5-10 mph in a bowling alley parking lot. I was coming around the corner of an alley, turning left and couldnt see because of a parked blazer, and I hit this camry in the passanger side door. He took my entire front bumper off and drug it about 50 feet. I didnt think he was going to stop. The damage was pretty minimal, about 2200 or 2300 for my car, and about 1200 for his. That was my only real accident, and it was 5 days after I got my liscense. Man I was hysterical, because I recked my precious car... But at least everyone was ok. Hope you're feelin better.

oh btw the car was my 92 prelude

Head on collision at a combined speed of 70mph,.. my 95 Ford Probe GT vs. a Ford Econoline van. I had no time to react, because he tried to pass someone on a curving road. I wasn't wearing my seat belt, the only option I had was to lock my arms on the steering wheel. I suffered road rash from the airbag deployment on my forearms and broken glasses, other than the normal soreness, I walked away. I have some pics of the car I took the day after.... I'll find them and scan'm for ya.http://www.imagestation.com/picture/sraid26/pfb4637680fd84c1f34c3830432cb1b95/fd846613.jpg

1. mom look at that sign - mom looks, looks back at road, slam on breaks, slid on some sand, BAM rearended some woman (i was like 10)
2. Waiting behind a car thats going to turn in my bros integra. were in one lane bus in another - no where to go got to wait. Waiting and BAM rearended my some kid in an older integra at like 15-20
3. going home, friend is driving a mustang, and it is damp from rain previously in the day. He stupidly peales out at a light and pulls a 180 and cant control it - Bam right through a fence on my side
4. im trying to manuver out of my driveway with a car parked behind me (i do it alll the time with out a problem) and i hit the garage door - luckly no damage
thats all

Went 140 mph around a bend(yea not the brightest). A car cut me off swerved and lost control.

My friend behind me said i spun out 4 times before i hit the wall going diagonal and backwards...I guess that means i spun 4 1/2. I just remember sparks flying over my left shoulder.

9k in damages. I completly shattered the steering assembly when i ground against the wall for 20ft and then when the wall ended went up the embankment, my rims hitting the curb that's what cracked it.

The front bumper, rear bumper, driverside mirror, driver door and both driver side fenders had to be replaced. BUT NO FRAME DAMAGE ahahahaha imagine that.

Well that was my worse accident and another reason why I don't speed like that anymore.

Almost the same as rotaryknights...
my best friend was driving my 90 integra, we got on the freeway at like 3 am, he was going 120 or so around a big bend, a car moved into our lane far ahead, he tried to change lanes on the inside and lost controll, we hit the wall at about a 30 degrees angle at about 100, we came out completely un harmed. we were both wearing our seatbelts. the car was completly totaled.

Nah, insurance claimed it totalled and I did not want to go through the BS of try to have it repaired. I got a good amount of money back from it for all the miles I put on it since I got it back in senior year of 2000... Hahahaha...

Neverless, my car lives on through the following people because of various swaps and such... Diego 95/96 S14, Richard S13 SR, Grant 95/96 S14...

Ok.. this is a little long, but CRAZY

I was driving My 90 probe GT home from my Girlfriends house at 4am. About 2 miles before I got home I fell asleep as I began to cross a bridge. I was going about 60mph with the Cruise Control on... The bridge curves to the right as you go across it, and the road continues the curve, and goes across a set of Railroad tracks about 100yds after you get off the bridge. Well, as I am cruising across the bridge, asleep, my car starts to slowly move across to the left lane. Right as I exit the bridge I am completely in the left lane and continuing left (because of the curve). Well comming straight for me in the Passenger lane is a 24ft Box truck. I go off the road and slide down the guard rail for about 30ft, then bounce off the rail, and back towards the Truck. He swerve fast enough for me to miss the front of the truck, but couldn't move the whole truck out of the way. I cought the Rear corner, which has a big Tommy lift on the back, DEAD CENTER of my front bumper. When my car hits, it tears half the Side of the truck, and the Tommy lift completely off, and onto the roof of my car. Remember.. I am STILL asleep. Car spins out of control back across the road and out from under the tommy lift. Now the Car is spinning towards the RR tracks. There is a Steel Pole about 3" in diamiter sticking about 7ft into the air, probably 10ft from the tracks. I hit this pole sideways right at the drivers door. Car slides up the pole and spins off of it through the air, and lands with the front half on the Railroad tracks, and the back half on the little track direction changer thingy. This Direction changer, which is about 2 ft high) is Stuck directly into my gastank. I wake up right after the car lands facing down the tracks with my ass in the air, windsheild shattered with the top of the passenger side of the roof pushed about 1 1/2 -2 ft into the cabin, and about 6" from my head, door dented a little towards me, and smoke pouring everywhere with the smell of gas getting stronger by the second. I unbuckle my seat belt, kick the door open, and get away from the car as fast as I can. I see along with the Roof being caved in, the bumper has been pushed in like a V all the way too the windshield, and the motor was pushed through the firewall. The dash was dislodged from the firewall on the passenger side and almost laying in the passenger seat. I was out of my car before the guy I hit was out of his truck. All I got was a lot of small cuts on my right forearm, a cut on my head, a bruised knee, and a little whiplash. I got a ticket for left over center, and my insurance paid out 14,000 in repairs to the truck. The entire car was turned into a big paperweight EXCEPT the drivers seat area I was in. I truly thank God everytime I think about it. The truck driver had no injuries. Everyone that saw it couldn't believe I was driving, since I was alive.

I still wish I took pictures of the car..

worst wreck driving...a lady rear ended me at 45....I walked away fine, car was totaled.

Worst wreck. Me, Jeff, and some other kid were out in Jeff's corvette. We go out to this back road to test out the car.

Jeff just floored it....last time we checked the speed it was around 150 and still accelerating.

I saw the eyes first. "cat!" jeff "shit" me"dont swerve" jeff turned just slightly, but one of the back tires was badly worn, and at that speed just blew it. We fishtailed badly and jeff almost regained, front passenger tire came off the rim under the force. jeff lost it this time. We're off the road, into a 4 foot deep ditch with a 3 foot tall car. Hit once, fly up and spin once or twice in the air. We land and kinda, skip/spin along in the grass....past huge trees and fences....landing safely in the only corvette spaced clearing.

In the wreck, jeffs hand wrecked his CD player, my knees wrecked the glove box, the keys flew out of the ignition, past my head and through the window (whew...)

Meanwhile, the poor bastard in the back bounced around off the roll bar and messed his kidneys up.

We all walked away from that one.

Sorry for lack of driving details, im at work and have to get back to just that. Jeff will fill you guys in im sure.

yeah.. the probe was faster than the 240 and it had an exhaust leak..

I know what happened from deduction and what the Truck driver said. I remember everything up to when I passed out.. so I know about where I fell asleep. There was a 30ft line of paint on the gaurd rail from my car.. The truck was missing half of itself. The pole was bent into an S-shape, and a corresponding dent was in the frame and door..
