OK, sorry if this has been discussed before or if it's a stupid question. The search function isn't working....and I'm still learning about Nissan...
I am doing the sr20 swap and I need to get new hoses (I wanna get colored ) Ok, someone told me that the Sentra has the same engine just minus the turbo (sr20de). So...my question is...will Sentra hoses fit on an sr20det? Or do I need to get sr20det hoses? Am I confusing yall ?
Thanks

You can get the colored hoses from places like nopionline.com or any local import shop should carry, or be able to get some. I'm not sure that the sr20de hoses would match up everything due to the turbo not being there....different lengths due to manifold and going around piping and the turbo itself....I might be wrong though.
Just don't get the super bright colors...some people might call you ricey...just my $.02 though.
Mark.

do you mean things like radiator hoses and vacuum hoses? radiator is a no-go from the SR20DE FWD (which is what you'll find in the States). all the connections are in different places. you can get radiator hoses in blue from Blitz, though. and you can just buy generic vacuum lines and cut them to fit. why, though? just do a clean install and let the red valve cover be your centerpiece...and maybe a nice FMIC and Koyo radiator.

If there is interest in performance radiator hoses I can get them made. I'm on good terms with Thermal Flex...actually they used to sponsor my FD. I set up a GB for FD hoses a while back.
The Thermal Flex hoses are 4-ply reinforced silicone and withstand up to 550F. Here are some links to the GB i set up and there are some pics of the material too.

If there is interest I can have the mold made but I will need at least 10 people to confirm. I will try to get a price quote on it if there is interest.

if the hoses are reasonably priced then i would definatly be interested in some to replace the stock sr hoses with the sr rad. that would be really cool if we could do this.
