Do you know if the Tension Rod brace will fit a Z32?

MadScientist
01-10-2007, 10:18 PM
articdragon192 - Not 100% but the tension rods are the same the only question would be the second mounting point on the Chassis.

Jung918 :Owned: hella_flushed

Team Rootbeer - The Water Temp Adapter is universal... thread is 1/8 PT which is the standard size.

Never heard of PT. Did you mean National Pipe Thread (NPT) or British Standard Pipe Thread (BSPT)?

Can I pay by money order?

MadScientist
01-11-2007, 10:56 AM
Jung918 - PT simply means the thread is tapered and gets smaller on the inside. NPT & BSPT... everyone I ask about this I never get a good answer on.. even from GoodRidge. I would have to say its NPT because that is the most common.

PITCH - Yes it has the Yashio Factory Logo w/ Hibiscus... here is a pic.

scottie - Awsome... yes, Lower Ohm resistance for better increase in Spark. Stock has 6 Volt drop, Tenka only has a 2 Volt drop. Also notice that the spikes are less drastick so you will have a smoother power band. Yashio Factory also mentions that the 4V difference is greater than you expect because in a 12volt system a single Spark plug creates 10000 Volts which is nearly 800 times greater. So basically 4V x 800 means your 12volt system is using 320 Volts less. More power for other systems, reduces back-fire, power gain, and alot of other benifical stuff.

Just looking over the last YF group Buy for Info you guys may be interested in... save you the searching.

Dousan PG laid down alot of info about the Water Temp Gauge and Water Pump Pully... he had one and so do I, so dont be shy about getting eather... info on installing and how to opperate is available... just ask.

Water Temp only displays in Celcius but you get use to it fast... it also has a dual staged warning light... I have the first one set at the same temp the Thermostat opens (fixed red lights indicate)... and the second is set for temps over 194 Deg F. (or 90 deg C.) this is when the warning lights will click and flash (sounds like your blinker)... 210 deg F. is a bad # for any car.
http://www.raretrick.com/store/images/products/7378_detail.jpg
The Units are made specifically as they are listed... they can't be converted from 1 channel to 4 channel...etc,etc...

Normal Unit plugs into a stock relay off the ECU & reads off the stock sensors.

1 Channel has One Temp. Sensor and is Hard wired into the cars 12 volt source. (Temp. Adapter not included)

4 Channel is the same as the 1 Channel with a few more toys. Includes a Channel swith to show individual readings. Unless you have a fully built racecar there is no need for 4 Water Temps, so this can be used for reading Oil Temp as well. (Temp. Adapters not included)

All of these units will work with Electric Fans and Yashio Water Spray Kit.
Water Pump Pully... the stock belt will be a little tight but can be used... Daily Driving is fine.
water pump pulley is deisnged to flow the water fast at higher rpms
it basically keeps the water moving thru the system w/o creating air bubbles
u can do some research on FA but

read this thread for info what the YF does..it PREVENTS cavitation

http://forums2.freshalloy.com/showth...ght=cavitation

every drift car shoudl run this or something equivilent.

get the YF water pump pulley
its fucking cheap and at the track well worth it when bouncing off redline and at high rpms

the japanese guys who come here wonder why we dont run these. they run this for a reason.

For all you sceptical about ordering off a Group Buy or ordering something Special Order from Japan... the last YF Group Buy ended on 09-15-2006... the product arrived and was being shipped out on 10-18-2006!! I also update the Threads constantly durring the down time so everyone knows whats going on.

15 days till the Group Buy Ends... I would love to see more cars with YF stuff... I dont care if the Group Buy is nothing but 20 Key Chains... just make it happen so I dont feel like I waisted all this effort.

Thank you
Drew

MELLO*SOS

Depends on the sensor, some temperature sensors just have one wire ran to them. Internally the wire connects to a thermistor then to the sensor body. The gauge measures the resistance of the thermistor, expecting the body of the sensor to be grounded (tapped into intake mani or block). If it's just spliced into the radiator hose it won't have a good ground. I doubt it, but, is it possible for a 1 wire sensor to "work" by grounding through the aluminum adapter body, through the water & coolant to the block or head? Take a look at the nis sport adapter (http://www.nissport.com/catalog/product.asp?ProductCode=NS-2050) picture & description.

If you use the Okachan temp sensor on your car (with the adapter), are there 2 wires going to the sensor?

The YF Okachan Water Temp Gauge has 1 to 4 sensors included.. not sure of the brand but they have 2 wires.

Old pic before it was installed... looks like 1 wire but its 2 covered.
