Welp, the car came with no key so i'm getting the key made, it had a shitty alarm system which i disconnected to the best of my ability. When the cars battery is connected the Ebrake light, winshield wiper fluid reservoir, and another light stay on all the time on the cluster.

what would cause these lights to stay on even w/o keys?

Also, there was a green Parking circuit box i disconnected when convertign to manual do i need to hook that up again?

thanks

Turbo timer?
Bad wiring? Anyway... you 've taken on someones botched project, right? Disconnect the battery remove the ECU... Your familiar with the engine harness so start there... when that's ok or repaired, check out the wires behine the Dash... this is more complicated than the engine harness by far. Also check out fuelpump. brake lights. and headlights things that you can hear and see from out side the car that'll help narrow down the bad wiring..

The reason the lights are staying on when the battery is connected is because there is probably a short in each of those circuits. Something similiar to this happened to me when I did my swap from AUto. Also If your talking about the green box that sit near the firewall on the drivers' side, yes keep it. And plug it in

Study FSM, items mentioned most likely have shared wiring of some sort that's been shorted. Check fuses. Green box is for auto stuff and doesn't need to be plugged in.
